And so we are back at what it will be a monthly reunion with you at Bertrams! First of all we want to thank you all for coming at the last party, and sharing your vibes in what we believe was an incredible situation built from the artists involved and especially from you, our crowd! We are working hard in order to keep our programming at what believe in, quality. This time we have the pleasure to host another amazing artist, and one of the most respectable Djs in the globe in our opinion. In a relatively short time, the name Binh has become almost synonymous with the sounds of modern underground Berlin. It was a natural path where Binh was able to quickly stand out from among the masses thanks to an extremely particular taste in music and sets overflowing with deep house and techno of the most refined variety, defined by subtlety and sprinkled with the delightfully unexpected. He began his residency at the iconic Club der Visionaere in 2007 and has been winning over crowds ever since at his bi-monthly event, Noon, alongside many a well-known artist of his choosing. 2013 represented a pivotal moment in Binh’s career thanks to his first release on Paris‘ Concrete Music, by way of a track many critics labelled as a high point on the various artists LP it was featured on. The praise has continued on into 2014 with his brand new Downtown EP on Cabaret Recordings and an upcoming release on his own project, Treatment, a joint effort with Onur Özer. The end of summer will also see another release of Binh’s by way of new label Time Passages, for which he’ll be dropping their first ever EP of the same name.
In a certain similar way, we can tell the Slow Life collective is becoming sort of quality brand records with their own label and with the records the guys are playing. Again Dj Tree will be representing, this time accompanied by the Cordoba native Mayto. It was by travelling around Europe and to South America, where specifically in Uruguay, Mayto found his most important influence which led him to find and shape his sound into a wide but linearly deep taste.
Omar, is one another guy, which has found his biggest influences by travelling, between South America and Europe. Chile, Ibiza and Uruguay, where he spent the most of his life, and had the strongest training which allowed him to grow and build his incredible skills by sharing the decks at countless parties with artists such as Dj Koolt and Nicolas Lutz. After he moved to the balearic island in 2006, where he had the chance to refine even more his technique by being resident at Monza´s parties and to infinite after parties, it was the year 2013 which took him after many visits every year since, to base himself definitely in Berlin. Ever since he´s getting yet more likes and taking part to many different projects around London, Italy and obviously the german capital. We will be proposing again a b2b session with our very own Yoshi, which who had the chance to experience them together already, can easily say it is one incredible blend of deepness and tasty grooves for a journey which will take you easily to can’t wait to dance again to their sets.
Completing the line up, our two other residents, Mate Pisu and Saverio Celestri, which are time by time increasing the brand of what could will be soon called the Libertine sound.
We wait you all and your unique vibe at Bertrams, Maybakufer 48. Loft Us Hall backyard. Please check our event page to avoid misunderstandings to find the right and unique entrance at our Party, for what we believe they will be another incredible night and morning!
With love, Libertine Crew.
