Still some days left until the third edition of Diynamic Festival Amsterdam opens its gates and we are completely sold out! The last tickets went over the counter and final preparations are being made. May 29th will see Solomun, Adriatique, H.O.S.H., Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Stimming, Karmon, NTFO, Thyladomid, Magdalena, DJ Phono and Ost & Kjex play for 12 hours on two floors in the picturesque forest of Amsterdam. The weather forecast looks promising, with sunshine and 20°C in store for a fabulous day outdoors.
The fun and joy of last year’s edition is still deep within our memories, and as Diynamic Festival Amsterdam 2015 is coming closer, the label and all artists are getting more and more excited. The day has almost come, so it is time to give you the final info on Diynamic Festival Amsterdam.
TRAVEL
By bike: With such great prospects, we strongly advise you to take the bike to the festival grounds! Take Amstelveenseweg to the Amsterdamse Bos near the Bosbaan, and then just follow the “P”-signs with a bike on it. It will lead you straight to the bike parking, which is free and closest to the festival entrance.
By public transportation: Use bus lines 170 and 172 in the direction of Amsterdam Central Station. When coming from Central Station, go in direction of Uithoorn and Kudelstraat. Get off at Koenkadde, walk in the direction of Bosbaan and then just follow the festival signs. When taking the night bus, use line 97. For more info, visit www.9292ov.nl.
By taxi / kiss&ride: You can take the exit VU/Buitenveldert (S108) on A10 south. Then follow the “Amsterdamse Bos” and Diynamic signs. If you use navigation, go to De Duizendmeterweg, Amstelveen.
Attention! There will be very little to no parking spots, so use the taxi stand as drop off.
This year there will also be a shuttle service. More info in the next days.
Doors open at 11:00h in the morning. There will be lockers provided and lots of possibilities to buy food and drinks for a carefree day. Also, there will be free pedal boats available for you to ride over the adjacent lake with your friends! The venue of Diynamic Festival is a beautiful glade in the forest of Amsterdam, situated at a picturesque lake with access to free pedal boats for all festival visitors to enjoy. For the first time, there will be two stages at Diynamic Festival. There will be a big main stage to give everyone the real festival feeling. The new second stage will be smaller and more intimate –so all acts get to play longer sets. Expect a day filled with sunshine, good vibes and lots of memories to be made.
AFTER PARTY
If you know us, you might have guessed it: the party doesn’t stop at 23:00h! We will be hosting a special after party, this year at Radion, where the whole Diynamic Family will be playing a freestyle back to back session. Radion is very close to the festival grounds; 10 minute bike ride or 20-30 minutes by foot, so a nice chance to get all your friends together and catch up about your favourite moments of the festival so far. There will also be limited tickets available at Diynamic Festival itself. Both preceding festivals in 2013 and 2014 have been sold out and an exceptional success. To the label and its artists, Diynamic Festival Amsterdam is an affair of the heart. It is a very special date, to which all artists look forward throughout the whole year: A family reunion, where everyone prepares special sets to showcase the very best they have to offer.
