Cotumo
Die Karriere von Cotumo begann bereits 2004. Er stand hinter den Plattentellern in der Arena, im Ritter Butzke, dem WMF sowie auf diversen Festival in und um Berlin. Neben Gigs in der Hauptstadt wird Hannes Balduin (so sein richtiger Name) auch in London, Turin und Moskau gebucht. Das Auflegen allein reichte ihm aber auf Dauer nicht, er wollte selbst auch produzieren, so veröffentlicht Cotumo 2009 seine erste Solo EP „Underkill“. 2008 lernt er auf einen Openair – Party Holger kennen. Zusammen gründen Sie das Projekt AKA AKA, mit dem Sie seit März 2009 bei dem Label Stil vor Talent unter Vertrag sind. Ihr Debüt „Vögeln EP“ erscheint 2009 und bleibt über einen Monat auf Platz 1 in den Beatport Minimal Charts. Im Oktober 2009 gründen Sie das Label Burlesque
Musique. Kennzeichnet für ihre Releases sind ein von Balkan, Swing und Funk beeinflusster Minimal und Techhouse.

Cotumo has been establishing his reputation as a well known DJ in Berlin since 2004 with his DJ-sets at Clubs like the WMF, Arena or Bar25 and more than 50 other clubs as well as at many festivals in and around Berlin. He has also spun records at parties in London, Wales, Turin, Graz, Zurich and Moscow and is also known for his radio broadcasts on stations like Deepmix.ru, Proton Radio, RTS.FM and many more. Since 2008 Cotumo has intensified his passion for producing his own music. His first solo production ‚Underkill EP‘ will appear in May 2009 on 3rd Wave Music (sublabel of Night Drive Music). Nowadays Cotumo concentrates his energie on his collaboration with The Ascent: AKA AKA. Under contract with Oliver Koletzki’s label Stil vor Talent, March 2009 saw their
debut ‚Voegeln EP ‚ released and supported by artists like Dubfire, Claude VonStroke and Troy Pierce. It hopped into the Beatport main charts within three days! Without ever having played live together, AKA AKA already have a busy schedule and Cotumo & The Ascent are ready to thrill bookers from Berlin (Watergate, Rechenzentrum, Arena Club…), Zuerich (Rote Fabrik) and Muenster (Favela) with their new liveact.
