Joshua Gutiérrez, better known as Slurm, and owner of the label Savia Park presents his highly anticipated debut album ‚Rebirth“. Savia Park, his label created in 2013 and which now has more than 30 EPs under its belt, (including music from the best producers in Ecuador and a selection of artists from Latin America), has gone from strength to strength and so It seems only right that he presents his album on home turf.
After learning his trade playing warm up and shared scenarios with Jamie Jones, Steve Bug, Damian Lazarus, Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler, Claptone, Ben Klock and many others, learning a deep understanding of the functional aspects of electronic music and the soul that lives with those aspects is clear to see on ‚Rebirth‘ which weaves elements of house and down right groovy techno together, allowing the productions to breath and fleet through a variety of emotions, whilst always delivering a fresh and dynamic sound,
The title of the LP ‚Rebirth‘ isnt just a catchy title but a heartfelt expression of true intent, within the album we find the music adapting and morphing to the circumstances, be it club, festival, warm ups, villas, house parties, all different kinds of energies, vibes and feelings caught wonderfully by Slurm.

„This album was something ive been working since the beginning of this year and ended in quarantine, it expressed a lot of the kind of music I like, trying not to follow the main stream music, I feel there is still a place for real music..Origami Musique did the vocals from levitate, lyrics that I wrote, singer from Ecuador too, she is just starting her dj and producer singer career, this is her first track released, she used to only be a singer but she found herself great in the decks and I catch her and put her to sing too…….. Life is beautiful, don’t waste time trying to understand it, living it is a full understanding of it.“
