After the thrilling debut of Ze in the Clouds, with his first album , Time is The Enemy is ready to launch his second project, the first single of Bᴀʀᴛᴏɴ Tʜɪɴᴋ (feat. Colonel Red and Dynamite MC).
We discovered this enigmatic Austin producer through a rough digging and with the helpful advice of Colonel Red, an old Jazz:Re:Found friend and one of the most appreciated voice in the UK. Bᴀʀᴛᴏɴ Tʜɪɴᴋ’s identity is still not clear, but this bizarre producer has an incredible music heritage, as the unreleased gems that we found clearly show.
Where is Barton Think?
“In the spring of 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic lockdown, I was finally able to find the time to engage in the activity I love most: listening to new music with devotion, without stress or superstructures. For a long time, Colonel Red has been talking to me about this puzzling character, with whom he said he shared a session in the studio years ago and never met again. From the very first listening, I thought it was absurd that this material had never been released by anyone. So, together with my team, we got on the tracks of this producer. Little by little, contacts and information came out that led us to discover other collaborations scattered around the world, without ever finding the author in flesh and blood. Last autumn, we got an absurd e-mail with some more unpublished
material, which marked the start of an email exchange that still leaves me stunned today.“
