„This Time“ ist die zweite Single aus dem kommenden Album von Nina Kraviz. Für „This Time“ ließ sich die Produzentin, Sängerin und DJ von Cindy Lauper, Laura Branigan und frühen Madonna-Platten inspirieren, wobei der Song dennoch das typische Nina Kraviz-Gefühl beibehielt. Während „This Time“ und „Skyscrapers“ Nina dabei helfen, ihre Fähigkeiten als Sängerin, Songschreiberin und Produzentin in einem poplastigen Musikbereich weiter auszuloten, sind sie auch eine natürliche Weiterentwicklung und Fortsetzung von Ninas Debütalbum.

Was soll ich sagen: Wenn man das so morgens nebenbei als Promo hört, und nichts erwartet, packt einen der Song überraschend fix, zumindest wenn man ein Kind der 80er ist. ´Die oben genannten Ikonen wie Cindy Lauper und Laura Brannigan passen da schon ganz gut.
