„Tuning“, the track that opens and gives its name to the EP, starts with a nice fade in intro that builds up into a nice smooth deep tone vibe. The experts say that a perfect loop can be heard for hours. Well you will listen to this for years. Deep house goodness.
On the remix duty for „Tuning“ we have Marcus Raute one of the most prolific artists of the label. Following the sucess of his „Soul II Soul“ Ep with Ron Boos, he is back again.
Our boy grabs the original vibe giving it his dancefloor touch. The result is a banger, with analog touch drums, basement House. The pads coming and going. Without fear. Well done Marcus!
„1997“ is the perfect match beetween House, Disco, Deep or whatever you want to call it.
Long pads, underground voices, crispy drum elements.
This very mature track, full of depth, and solid, will give the most exquiste house heads, a perfect playlist dream.
Closing the Ep with a remix of „1997“ is Amarno. After his debut on Colour in Music with a remix with Luís Bravo for Andy Caz – „Fill the Gap“, he returns with a deep tech approach. He gives us pumping bassline and pushes the original vocal to another side with some fxs combined with delayed chords.
