Berzingue shares a new single Woodflaure taken from his forthcoming EP Quitter Paname due on February 25th on Pont Neuf. A track with punchy kick-hat combos residing next to glitchy synth tones to create a late- night, dancefloor cut. „I made Woodflaure in one go, after a gig with my duet ALVA (now Calmos & Berzingue) on Concrete’s Woodfloor in Paris. It’s a euphoric and festive house tribute to this place“ explains Raphaël (Berzingue).
More about Berzingue:
Parisian-producer Berzingue is fast-becoming a talked-about talent in today’s house music scene. As one half of Calmos & Berzingue, the pair have been described as a “promising duo” by esteemed French magazine Tsugi. Their discography speaks for itself, with several EPs released on Pont Neuf under their previous ALVA pseudonym, the likes of which garnered support from Laurent Garnier or Janeret to name a few. Add to that a release on Chez Damier’s Inner Balance and the launch of their own imprint Virage in 2017, and it’s not hard to see why they caught the eye of some of France’s leading tastemakers. In recent times, the pair have re-invented their output under a new alias, Calmos & Berzingue, with a first EP Belleville landing on Pont Neuf early last year. Now, Quitter Paname marks Berzingue’s debut solo release, setting the tone for a standout year ahead for the young Parisian.
