„Basile de Suresnes alias BAZDESUR, co-founder of the Frappé label, DJ and multi-recidivist producer, delivers “U All Disco Lovers. F**K’’ an EP with a title not devoid of irony, considering how the 3 tracks are obviously Disco, French Touch, and House inspired. The influences may be different on the tracks, still the artist manage to glue them together, using his unique touch: grooves and warm sounds, intertwined voice gimmicks, and 909 kicks sharpened for the dancefloor, his favourite territory.
“All you disco lovers. F**K’’, the first eponymous track of the EP, comes in the purest disco house tradition, with its own French”je ne sais quoi ». Simply built around a string sample found directly in the artist’s library, the track is both powerful and epic. Bazdesur has also given pride of place to low frequencies, to make the sound round and generous, as the French producer has accustomed his audience to. A synth, a few vocal chops later and voila. To be consumed without moderation according to the disco doctor!
On the second track „I Gotta Find U“ the producer collaborates with Alex Layan, a talented multi-instrumentalist musician. With four hands they have created the ideal recipe for a French Touch piece: samples cut for the dancefloor and a fat and compressed bassline well put forward, which catches in its movement any dancer who may come near it.
„Wot U Think“ gives the end clap, with its old school 90s house hues. Classic and almost corny stabs intertwine with voice gimmicks taken from hip-hop tracks that the artist loves. However, the mechanics work and make it a weapon for dancefloor-breaking DJs.“
