The third release from co-founder Max Sinàl’s London-based label is ‘Coat On’. The single is the result of a collaboration between DJ/Producer/Trumpeter KingCrowney hailing from North West London and the sonically smooth vocals of Zoe Kypri whose heartfelt lyrics take the fore, surrounded by KingCrowney’s ensemble of blissful deepness, next to a frenzy of crisp percussion.
Both artist have a rich history in the music industry, KingCrowney works closely with Mobo and Brit Award winning band Rudimental, recording and touring with them since 2013. Some of his most noticeable work can be heard on tracks such as Feel The Love ft. John Newman, which features KingCrowney’s trumpet solo at the peak of the track.
KingCrowney also boasts noticeable deep groove releases on King Street Sounds and In It Together, along with countless production and trumpet credits for other established artists.
Soul artist Zoe Kypri’s most recent collaboration with Made By Pete HORIZON RED on Damian Lazarus world renowned CROSSTOWN REBELS has been travelling across the globe over the last few months with continued support from Pete Tong, Black Coffee and DJ SPOONY to name a few. Since Becoming one of the most talked about dance records of the year so far.
Zoe has featured in some of dance music’s biggest Artists live shows over the years including the Brit award-winning Rudimental, where Zoe and Mark initially met back in 2012. Both lending their amazingness to shows that span from The Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury, O2 arena and Wembley. This time the two have been creating magic of their own mirrored In this record reflecting the reality of being musician deep in the smoke of London Town.
This collaboration has been in the works for a few years as they wanted to wait until everyone was back in their flow again. The record has found it’s home at SOUL QUEST.
