After a brief hiatus, the SlothBoogie Records crew are back with an exceptional label debut from Danvers. You may know him as one half of UK duo ‘Kassian’ who have previously released on SB, but here he flies solo with 4 tracks of expertly produced electronic, acid washed breaks.
Whether it be the liquid tinged euphoria of ‘Angel Break’, the speaker wobbling brute that is ‘YOU&ME’, the saturated acid warmth of ‘Heat’ or the otherworldly journey of ‘Distant Recalls’, this EP is the mark of someone who is a master of their craft and poised to heavily influence the sound of clubs with his unmistakable style.
Rounding off the EP is LA native and underground House devotee Juliet Mendoza who re-shapes ‘YOU&ME’ into a thumping 4/4 workout, primed for the late hours when the strobes come out.
