BlueSwan’s music draws from the sounds of decades past through the modern day, a mix of analogue, acoustic and electronic, with the beautiful, deep and sensual voice of Orsola Fezzi, whose words describe a passion for life and the experience of being human in the world today.
Orsola, a native of Venice, Italy, lives and works in New York City. On a glittering night redolent of downtown glamour and seediness, the model and performer crossed paths with fellow Venetian Marco Dianese and wandering Irishwoman Barbara Gogan in a gallery on Orchard Street. An instant bond was formed, and BlueSwan was born.
The soundscape is created by layers of Barbara’s distinctive guitar and Marco’s unorthodox electronic instruments, released from the garages and basements of Russian and East European mechanical geniuses. He has also taken up the bass.
Recent public performances include the Lordville, NY, Alpacastan arts festival in July, EDM festival Elements last August, and in and around the bars and rooftops of Venice and the Veneto in autumn 2024.
The first single, a double A side, Moonstruck/Coffee Break, will be released on 7” vinyl and throughout various digital outlets in early 2025.
