Hello PISAPIA! Your sound has been described as relentless and uncompromising. How would you define your own style, and what influences have shaped it?
Hello! I took a lot of inspiration from Carl Cox in the past and right now instead I try to imprint the music with my style. I try to mix Hard techno, classical music, orchestra sounds and psy.
Your latest EP, Revolution, is out now on PRTY TRAX. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind it and how it fits into your evolution as a producer?
I’m really happy about the EP, I think it has a great potential. I tried to work on something different .Of course there are good and bad periods. Time after time, I’m always better than before, I studied a lot to arrive at this point.
You’ve received support from huge names like Amelie Lens and Nico Moreno. How does it feel to have your music recognized by such influential artists?
Of course at the start of my career it was amazing that a big artist was playing my tracks. I knew that it doesn’t mean anything particular, maybe for my last scheduled shows. But inside I loved it.
You’ve played at some incredible venues across Europe, the US, and Australia. Is there a particular show or crowd that stands out as the most memorable?
I have the USA’s venue in my heart, Los Angeles in particular, every time there are a lot of people. I’m preparing my biggest tour ever with 8 cities. My second tour in Australia was done in three days. It was super fun and they are improving all show by show.
Speaking of Australia, you’ve embarked on your first AU tour of the year, and you’re filming a set from a hot air balloon. What can you tell us about that experience?
For me it is really difficult because I suffer when I am too high up in a place or haha. But I tried my best, and it was an amazing experience.
The neo-rave scene is growing fast. Where do you see it heading in the next few years, and how do you see your role in pushing it forward?
I think right now it is one of the most followed genres for this kind of music. I think it will replace EDM soon and I really hope it will be one of the biggest ones one day.
You’ve released on labels like Rave Alert, 9×9, and No Mercy. How do you choose which labels to work with, and what makes a label the right fit for your music?
Of course I have my preferred labels as everyone and I always try to release on those ones.
It is a thing of taste, more I like and more I’ll be focused to create a sound similar but with my own touch. It is also important to respect the label where you release.
What’s your creative process like in the studio? Do you start with a specific idea, or do you let the energy of the moment guide you?
It is a mix of both, of course depending on my feelings and what I would like to reach at that moment. Of course I also put an eye also on the label and their sound.
With more music dropping in February and March, can you give us a hint about what’s coming next? Any collaborations or surprises in store?
I’m doing a remix for my brother Gianma Bln – ‚Evil Choir‘ on No Mercy out 18th Feb! And a new version of my track ‘Hybrid Boom’ also on No Mercy in March. I also have an EP AnD Records coming soon!
Looking ahead to 2025, what are some of your biggest goals or dreams for the next phase of your career?
I really would like to play more at big festivals and to discover new places thanks to my music. I really would like to release an album at a certain point of my career too
