Originally handpicked to soundtrack the UEFA Champions League campaign, “Praying To The Moon” carries cinematic ambition in its DNA. Built from the ground up with the vision of a modern anthem, the track’s creation began with the strings — composed with classical techniques to stir tension and emotional intensity. The bass and drums followed, crafted to elevate the strings and deliver dancefloor power. The final touch was the vocal — hypnotic and anthemic — that gave the track its identity and name. The story behind the UEFA connection is just as unique as the track itself. After a performance in London, a chance encounter with someone from an independent film company working on behalf of UEFA led to the record being selected for the main pre-kickoff advertisement. A cinematic shoot was staged at NightTales, a London club transformed into a Boiler Room-style set, with all attendees in UCL team jerseys. Though the campaign didn’t reach completion due to contractual issues, the track remained — now poised for release through Axept, where it’s set to fulfill its destiny on the global stage. With “Praying To The Moon”, the artist has delivered a statement of intent — an anthem that straddles the emotional world of orchestral music and the physical impact of electronic dance music.
